The data we collect depends strictly on which Batuly services you activate:

• Community-Only Users: If you register solely to use the Batuly Community, we only collect your public profile information (Name, Business Name, Contact Info) and the content you voluntarily post. We do not generate or store any private POS data for your account.
• Full POS Users: If you activate the business management tools, we securely store your private ledgers, sales, and inventory data. This data is partitioned securely and remains entirely invisible to the Batuly Community.

We only collect information necessary to provide and improve the service:

• Information You Provide: Name, phone number (for OTP), business details (PAN/VAT, address), and the specific products, sales, purchase records, and files you upload into the POS.
• Automatically Collected Information: Device types, browser information, and encrypted usage/crash logs to improve system security.

Your financial data is highly confidential. In accordance with the Privacy Act 2075:

• We DO NOT sell, rent, or trade your user data or financial records to advertisers, agencies, or external companies.
• We DO NOT manually access your private business data unless you explicitly request technical support and grant us a secure, temporary access session.

If you actively participate in the Batuly Community (by posting, commenting, or listing yourself as an Expert), be aware that your basic profile information (Business Name, Username) and the specific content of your posts will be visible to other registered users. Do not share confidential financial numbers in public community feeds.

We process your data exclusively to:

• Deliver core Batuly features (invoices, ledgers, and reports).
• Provide customer support and troubleshoot platform issues.
• Prevent fraud and unauthorized access.

We implement modern, industry-standard security practices to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure:

• Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/SSL).
• Secure, role-based database architecture.
• Your data is hosted on highly secure cloud infrastructure.

We only share data under the following strict conditions:

• User-Initiated Integrations: If you choose to connect Batuly to a custom eCommerce site or a payment gateway, data necessary for that transaction will be shared.
• Legal Compliance: We will disclose data only if legally compelled by a valid court order, warrant, or official directive from authorized law enforcement or government bodies in Nepal.

Your data is stored securely on cloud servers inside or outside Nepal depending on infrastructure reliability.

We retain your data for as long as your Batuly account remains active. Under Nepal's privacy laws, you have the right to:

• Access and review your data.
• Request corrections to inaccurate information.
• Export your financial data (CSV/Excel).

Request permanent account deletion. (Upon deletion, we will purge your private data within 90 days, excluding records required for legal or fraud-prevention purposes).
